Just south of Wimberley you can drive the Devil's Backbone by taking RM 32 west 24 miles to Blanco.

Bella Vista Ranch is modeled after a typical Italian farm. The ranch has more than 800 olive trees. In the spring you can pick your own olives. You can also do some wine tasting of Bella Vista Cellars wines, made from various fruits grown on the ranch.

At Jade Gardens, on RR 12, on the south end of Wimberley you'll find the Central Texas Bonsai Exhibit with more than 160 species of trees stuck in over 1,000 planters.
