Below is a Trivia Questionnaire, sent to Texas for comment and input on May 19, 2002. When it was seen that the questions below were based on a premise not commonly understood, that being the grouping by generations 1-7, it seemed that this would not be a very useful tool to use to bring about interesting interaction. So, another Trivia Questionnaire was compiled and sent back to Whatcom County. It was then relayed back to Texas that the new Trivia Questionnaire would be printed and left on the tables in the People's Place Meeting Hall. The Whatcom contingent seemed to have trouble understanding that there was no need to 'grade' this Questionnaire, that it was written in a way that told the family history and that that was the point of it, that it was not intended to be a contest with a prize, that all answers were available in the Slotemaker Story, the Anna Story and the Story of Alida.....however, when July 26 arrived it was communicated that the Trivia Questionnaire had not been printed and would not be among the items adding color to July 27..... note at the end of this the line telling those completing it to return it to the registration desk...you know, that place where no registering took place....
