Apparently the Eyes on Texas did not see clearly when it came time to type the name of the most famous trail in Texas. The following email was received from the great-great-great-grandson of Jesse Chisholm. The spelling mistake was made in many more locations than the one pointed to by Jesse Chisholm. |

Howdy, I found your page: www.durangotexas.com/eyesontexas/chilsomdays/chilsomdays.htm while looking for something else. The spelling of the trail's name caught my attention. Your first picture (of the Margarita advertisement) shows it spelled "Chisholm Trail" instead of "Chilsom Trail". Just thought you should know. Jesse Chisholm
