The
State Fair of Texas takes place at Dallas Fair Park. The Texas State
Fairgrounds are very easy to find. The Texas Star Ferris Wheel is
visible for quite a distance and can serve as your directional guide.
Fair Park is located just a couple miles east of downtown Dallas, a
very short distance south of I-30. You can check out the map below to
find various ways to reach Fair Park. Traffic can be heavy at the
exits off I-30 when there are a lot of people heading to the Texas
State Fair. It's easy to find parking. There are People Movers of
various sorts, trams and trains, to take you from the parking lots to
the Fair Park entries.
